UPDATED 15 OCTOBER 2026
Privacy Policy
This notice covers computicks.com, SunPlot and TripSussed. Computicks Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 06902504, is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact info@computicks.com with privacy questions or requests.
Enquiries, email and support
Our enquiry form sends your name, email address, message and any optional phone, company and service details to our server. We email the enquiry to our sales team and return a reference number. Name, email and message are needed to respond; the other fields are optional. You can use email or live chat instead.
Jev, TypeSafe’s decision service accessed through OpenRouter, helps classify enquiries by service, urgency, likely spam and sales relevance. This involves processing enquiry content. Messages are sent to the team even when flagged as possible spam. This classification does not itself accept or refuse a customer, set a price or make a decision with legal or similarly significant effects. You can ask for a person to review your enquiry.
We use Chatwoot at support.computicks.com for website conversations. The Computicks Assistant can answer common questions and route a conversation to the team. Chat records, contact details you provide, and technical information needed for the conversation may be kept in our support system. Please avoid sending passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information.
We use these details to answer questions, handle support and take steps towards a contract you request. Our legal bases are those pre-contractual steps or performance of a contract, and our legitimate interests in responding to business correspondence, organising support and preventing spam. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
Browsing, security and website preferences
Our hosting and security services receive normal connection information such as IP address, browser information, pages requested and request times. Hostinger hosts the website and Cloudflare helps deliver and protect it. We use technical records to operate the service, investigate faults and prevent abuse, based on our legitimate interest in a secure, reliable website.
Language, colour theme, region, motion and accessibility choices are saved in your browser. Capital-photo metadata is cached there for up to seven days. Automatic country selection first uses Cloudflare’s same-site country response; if it is unavailable, Country.is receives a request to determine an approximate country. We do not request device GPS for this feature. You can override the region and language in the menu. A country estimate is not a claim about nationality, identity or precise location.
Cloudflare may provide website-performance analytics. The live-chat widget uses browser storage and connection information to maintain conversations. We do not use the site’s enquiry form to enrol you in advertising tracking. Any additional non-essential tracking that requires permission must be presented with a separate choice before activation.
SunPlot
Postcode searches are sent to Postcodes.io. Map coordinates are sent to OpenStreetMap and its Overpass service to obtain map tiles, community addresses and building outlines. These providers receive the search information needed to respond and normal connection information. Community data is incomplete and is not the Royal Mail address register.
Sunlight, season and shadow calculations run in your browser. Reports are generated on your device and are not automatically sent to us or to an estate agent. Demonstration listings and preferences may be saved in your browser. A selected property does not imply that you own or occupy it. Birth-chart details are calculated in the browser and are not saved or sent by that feature.
If a licensed address or additional imagery service is introduced, this notice will be updated to identify the provider and how searches are processed before that service is enabled.
TripSussed
Destination search uses our self-hosted GeoNames index. Typing a city or country does not send the typed search to an external geocoding service. Choosing to find nearby places sends city coordinates to Wikidata. Restaurant, venue, transport and map links open the relevant third-party service, whose own privacy notice applies.
Your trip dates, destinations, budget, traveller counts, child ages and preferences are used in the browser to produce a plan. Saved trips and favourites stay in this browser. Clearing browser data can remove them; export important plans first. Print and download features create documents under your control. We do not automatically receive those documents.
Choosing “Discuss this trip” copies the trip brief to our enquiry form. It is only sent when you submit that form. A brief can be carried using temporary browser storage or a URL fragment which is then removed. Do not share a URL containing a private brief. Only include dietary, accessibility or other sensitive information if it is needed and you are entitled to share it.
These planning tools are intended for adults. Adults can enter children’s ages for planning; children’s full names, passports and dates of birth are not needed. Online account sign-in and paid TripSussed Plus are not active on this public host. The website does not collect payment-card details or start subscriptions.
Business calls
If you use our business phone service, Twilio connects the call and ElevenLabs provides the AI receptionist. Your conversation and contact details may be processed to answer questions, take a message or pass a request to a person. Ask for a person or use email if you prefer. Call and message information is used for the same enquiry and support purposes described above.
Service providers and sharing
Relevant providers include Hostinger for hosting, Cloudflare for delivery and security, our hosted mail and Chatwoot systems for correspondence, Brevo for delivery of some outgoing email, OpenRouter and TypeSafe/Jev for enquiry classification and assistant routing, and Twilio and ElevenLabs for business calls. Map and location providers are described above. Pexels and Wikimedia supply photographic assets; loading an external image sends normal connection information to its host.
We share information with providers as needed to deliver these functions, with professional advisers where necessary, or where disclosure is legally required. Some providers process data outside the United Kingdom. You can ask info@computicks.com which processing locations and transfer safeguards apply to your information, and request information about relevant safeguards. We do not claim that all processing takes place in the UK.
How long information is kept
We aim to remove routine enquiries within 12 months of the last substantive contact unless they become customer records, concern an unresolved issue or need to be retained for a legal obligation. Customer, contract and accounting records are kept for the applicable business and legal retention periods. Ask us for the period relevant to a particular record.
Security logs, support records and backups have operational retention arrangements. Access is restricted to the people and services that need it. Browser preferences, saved trips and favourites remain until you delete them or clear browser data. Files you download remain wherever you save or share them; deleting browser data does not delete downloaded copies.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your information, correction, erasure, restriction of use or a portable copy. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may ask for proportionate information to verify that a request concerns your records.
Your right to object: you can object to uses based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing. Email info@computicks.com and explain the use you object to. We will consider the request and explain any lawful reason requiring continued processing.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. You do not have to contact us first, although we welcome the opportunity to resolve a concern.
Changes to this notice
The date above identifies this version. We will update the notice when our services or processing change and draw significant changes to users’ attention where required.
